Window Cleaner - Cambridge

Are you a hands-on, proactive individual with a passion for maintaining high standards? We're seeking an experienced Window Cleaner to join our established team in Cambridge. This is a mobile role covering multiple prestigious sites, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in the local community while taking pride in your work.
Role Overview
- Annual Salary: £28,000
- Location: Cambridge area (mobile role)
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Driving License: Full UK Driving License essential (to operate company vans)
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role is window cleaning, though it will also include some caretaking duties as part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Window Cleaning
- Have experience in use of the Reach & Wash® or similar water-fed pole system
- Be prepared to work quickly and efficiently outdoors in all weather conditions (within reason)
- Be reasonably fit and healthy and able to work safely at height, where required
- Be of a practical nature with a background in window cleaning.
- Be able to work between Monday and Friday, but to be flexible to work additional hours if necessary.
- A fully stocked vehicle will be supplied where necessary and the person should keep the vehicle and tools provided in good order and report any incident/breakage immediately to their line manager.
Mobile Caretaking
- Lawn care and grass cutting
- Regular weeding, including weed-killing treatments
- Seasonal pruning, deadheading, and maintaining plant beds
- General caretaking tasks such as cleaning and light maintenance
- Litter picking and leaf removal
- Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems (training provided)
- Conducting Planned Maintenance activities (e.g., light switch checks, lamp replacements)
What We’re Looking For
Window Cleaning Experience is Essential. Previous caretaking experience is not essential, a background in caretaking, cleaning, or similar roles would be advantageous. We’re seeking someone who:
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in delivering excellent results
- Enjoys working outdoors and being active
- Values contributing to the community through their work
- Full UK Driving License is essential for this role
