The Role:
As Energy & Insurance Manager, you’ll ensure our clients' utilities and insurance contracts are efficiently managed across over 2000 meters and 1000 estates. Your leadership will help streamline processes, ensuring smooth operations, accuracy, and delivering great value for our clients. You’ll also be managing relationships with energy brokers, ensuring contracts and renewals run seamlessly, overseeing the utilities process for unsold units, and playing a key role in our automation and AI programme.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the Energy & Insurance Team: You’ll lead our Energy & Insurance team, guiding them through everything from quick queries to high-level strategy. It’s all about development and teamwork!
• Utilities Management: Ensure no energy contracts slip through the cracks, broker relationships stay strong, and all new meters are logged. Be the go-to expert on energy rates, contract renewals, and EV charging.
• Insurance Management: Oversee policy renewals, ensuring every estate is covered and compliant. Work closely with brokers and estate managers to ensure top-tier service and smooth processes.
• Automation Champion: Spearhead process improvements with automation and AI, making us leaner, smarter, and faster.
• Financial Oversight: Handle all things finance-related for utilities and insurance—payments, cost allocations, heat tariffs, and more.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience:A proven track record of accounting experience, CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification, understanding of the energy market, and experience in property management.
• Skills: Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Qube software.
• Behaviours: Accountability, attention to detail, a positive and proactive attitude, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Encore operate a hybrid working policy.  The expectation for this role is 1 day per week in our Cambridge office , 1 day per week in our Peterborough office and 3 days from home.

The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. depending on experience.
